Emberhouse Media Group is a Portfolio Sample for the DUO specializing in cinematic corporate videos, brand storytelling, and high-end content for small businesses nationwide.

The company’s roots trace back to a movie theater, where co-founders Forrest McBride and Adam Kohlenberg met as teenagers working their first jobs. That early connection to cinema sparked a creative partnership that led them to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they earned degrees in fine arts and film in 2013.

After graduation, they worked behind the scenes on major Hollywood film and television productions in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading crews. These formative years instilled a deep understanding of visual storytelling, which they now bring to every client collaboration.

Originally launched in 2009 as Forrest Fire Films, the business evolved in May 2025 when McBride and Kohlenberg officially joined forces to form Emberhouse Media Group. Their mission: bring Hollywood-level production to the world of business storytelling In order to show off our unique skills for our individual reels, making every brand’s message feel like a scene from the silver screen.

Through our years of working at various companies, we have done individually concept-to-completion services, including scripting, pre-production planning, on-location filming, editing, color grading, and motion graphics.
