Emberhouse / Animation & explainer videos
Animation & explainer videos.
Make the complex clear.
Give ideas a visual language.
Motion graphics, illustrated explainers, and animated stories that help your audience understand what matters.
An idea.
A story.
Understood.
Purpose before production
Some ideas need
more than a camera.
A process may be invisible. A service may be difficult to picture. A product may need context before its features make sense. Animation gives those ideas a form: a sequence, a comparison, an illustrated scene, or a visual explanation that builds one step at a time.
Animated explainers
Organize a service, concept, or offer into a story that helps viewers understand the essentials.
Customer education
Give unfamiliar terms and processes a clear visual structure, with room for the right level of detail.
Product & interface stories
Use graphics and illustrated sequences to put functionality in context and guide attention.
Campaign motion graphics
Develop moving typography and graphic elements that support a campaign’s message and visual identity.

An explanation, built in stages
What does the viewer need to understand?
Give the idea a beginning, a middle, and a point.
Leave the audience with something they can use.
A filmmaker’s approach
The explanation comes first.
The motion gives it shape.
We start with what the viewer needs to understand, then work through the script and visual approach. Style frames and story planning help establish the direction before animation and finishing. The scope defines the level of illustration, motion, and any 3D work involved.
Define the idea
Identify the audience, core question, intended use, and information that must be accurate.
Build the explanation
Develop the script, narrative structure, and visual direction around what the audience needs.
Design the movement
Create the agreed illustration, typography, and animation, with review stages appropriate to the scope.
Finish the film
Bring sound, voiceover where scoped, timing, and delivery formats together for the intended placement.
Scope it with intention
Plan the message.
Then the versions.
A longer educational piece and a short campaign edit may need different scripts, visuals, and pacing. Establishing those uses early helps define what can share assets and what needs its own approach.
Deliverables, revision allowances, licensing, and timelines are defined in your production agreement.

Before we roll
Good questions.
Clear answers.
What is an explainer video?
An explainer is a video designed to help an audience understand an idea, product, service, or process. It can use animation, filmed footage, or a combination; the format should serve the explanation.
Do you help with the script?
Script and creative development can be included in the scope. Bring any existing brief, brand guidelines, product information, and technical requirements so we can establish the right starting point.
Can animation be combined with filmed footage?
Yes. Motion graphics can support interviews, demonstrations, company films, and commercials. We define the relationship between the footage and graphics during creative development.
How are animation revisions handled?
The proposal defines review stages and revision allowances. Resolving the script and visual direction early helps avoid substantial changes after animation has begun.
Can you provide 3D or CGI?
Emberhouse offers animation and CGI. The treatment, complexity, and technical requirements determine the appropriate approach, schedule, and production scope.
